This charming heart pendant is crafted from sterling silver and accented with a single highly saturated amethyst stone, held securely in a three-prong setting. The amethyst stone has a rich dark purple color and a faceted cut. It's framed by a silver open heart with a beaded texture surface and a single petite diamond accent. The heart hangs askew from an 18 inch sterling silver cable chain that fastens with a spring ring clasp.

3Very pretty, but came all tangled up  Dec 20, 2008
The pendant looks as advertised and is very pretty, however it was shipped in just a small velvet pouch without the cardboard cutout that necklaces usually ship in, so the chain was severely tangled with the heart. It took over 2 hours with a toothpick and pair of tweezers to untangle it.

Other than that, no complaints. If yours does not come all tangled up, you'll like it.

I purchased this as a gift for my girlfriend. She frequently wears heart-shaped jewelry, usually themed, and the "crooked" heart with amethyst was very much her style.
