great color, OK fit. Feb 09, 2010 I looked high and low for a good deal on these boots and found the cheapest price at [...]. They're in NY so you won't get them fast but, if they're offering the same deal they gave me, you can have them shipped and everything for $102!!! Yep, I do my homework, folks. However, I'm not 100% thrilled with them. They're gorgeous to look at and they go with everything but the fit just doesn't do it for me. They're not soft and pliable leather..like the expensive ones would be. And, don't tell me it's b/c they're "cheap" b/c Zappos sells them for $200 and i just happened to get lucky. They're expensive enough to have a more quality look to them. The shaft is very stiff and doesn't hug my calves enough. My calves, the upper part, are 14 inches and the boot gives me room to stuff jeans And legwarmers if i chose to wear them. I still wear the boots with skirts and dresses b/c that was my whole aim in buying a 'riding' style boot. The shaft is high too..about an inch under my knee. Put it this way..its cute enough but still leaves me wanting another pair of Cognac boots that will fit perfectly. until then, these will do.

Steven "Intyce" boot in black Dec 08, 2009 I chose the Intyce boots because they looked similar to a higher-priced pair of Loeffler Randall boots. I generally wear an 8.5 to 9, preferring to order boots on the larger size but these boots fit true to size. Wearing tights or thin trouser socks, the 8.5 fits comfortably. My calves are average-sized and the shaft is comfortably wide but not so much that it looks sloppy; you can partially adjust the width of the shaft with the gold buckle. The leather is thick and pebbled which mitigates some slouch in the shaft. The small wedge adds a bit of height but I wish the toe were slightly more almond shaped. All in all, a versatile boot that is appropriate for casual or even a relaxed business environment.

On the Fence Nov 30, 2009 I bought these boots in black last week and I just received them today. I must admit that while I'm thrilled with the style, I'm a little disappointed in the quality. I had also purchased a pair of black leather boots last week from Nine West and when I compared the two side by side, the difference in the quality of the leather, from the look to the feel, was extremely noticeable even though the price of the boots was comparable. Like some other reviewers, I'm worried how these will look after one season. Also, the boot sags a bit in the ankle, but I don't know if that's because my ankles/calves are on the skinnier side. I normally wear a size 5 and they feel relatively true to size. They are also really easy to put on and take off, however, I have yet to try putting them on over skinny jeans. One more thing I would like to note: the black boot comes with a gold buckle...at least mine did. It surprisingly does not bother me too much, but I know it may bother others. I am considering returning these and resuming my search for the perfect boot but am hesitant because they're super cute! They pair well with everything: leggings, jeans, and skirts/dresses.

Awesome boots! Oct 05, 2009 I normally never write reviews for online purchases but I was especially pleased with this one. I got the Cognac ones in 6.5 from Nordstrom's online on sale for around $120. They are a beautiful pebbled leather and look like a much more expensive boot. They are also true to size (as I normally wear a 6.5) and should be great for all calf sizes as well. I have normal to skinny calves and they are snug on the smallest buckle length with just leggings but the adjustable buckle is also great if you are wearing thicker layers, like jeans. I would actually give this 4.5 stars if I could. The only negatives with this boot is that footbed seems a little narrower than other shoes (they are quite snug on my normal width feet so if you have wide feed they might be uncomfortable), the bottom could have been better made (it is just flat and seems slippery...although putting some adhesive shoe bottom grips should do the trick), and the ankle part is a bit wide, which makes it slouchy (although that does make it easier to slip on and off instead of undoing the buckle all the time). Overall great genuine leather boot for the fall/winter at a reasonable price!
Love! Sep 04, 2009 I have been looking for the perfect black boots, and I found them!
They are flattering and not too tall even for someone who is shorter.
However, the upper leather is a littler thinner than i thought (I was imagining a stiff more equestrian boot)
so it still slouched a little by the ankle.
Nonetheless, AMAZING!
