I never thought I would get compliments on a wallet, but since I bought this one a few weeks ago, two people - one friend and one stranger - have noted how cool the wallet is. It looks different, it feels different, and it's neat to have a wallet that adds a little flair.
The quality and functionality are solid as well. This wallet is durable, well-made, and has enough space for all the major cards you'll need to carry with you. It has a tiny little zippered pocket for spare change, and the belt clip is tight and secure.
The only con I can think of is that the belt clip is not removable, but the wallet is low profile enough that even if you don't want to use the belt clip, you can just put the whole thing, clip and all, into your back pocket.

I love this product, worth every penney then some. I even took a knife to it and didn't do a thing to it. If this one fails me ever I will buy another one, thats how good this wallet is.

Unfortunately, my order seemingly TOOK OVER A MONTH to be delivered with some emails telling me it was back ordered...Well the wallet finally arrived, and the BELT CLIP IS A BUMMER..THE WALLET actually came off two days later, much to my dismay while in the subway...NOW CIVILIAN LABS has emailed me to inform the consumers that the KEVLAR WALLET is NOW AVAILABLE without the IRRITATING "belt-clip"

Great alternative to the back pocket wallet. Jan 02, 2010
I was tired of sitting on a large wallet everywhere I went. I gave this a try due to the clip, and have not regretted the decision. It is rugged, and the Velcro doesn't destroy its self with use unlike cheaper Velcro products. Clips easily to your belt, pant waste band, or pocket. The colors are low key, and (despite having it on my belt) is hard to steal. Had a co-worker attempt to steal it in the lab trying to be funny, when he tried to grab it and run it pulled out of his hand. The card compartments are see through so I don't have to pull my ID out all the time, and easier for card retrieval.
I highly recommend this wallet.

So I bought this for my boyfriend, I was worried it was going to be too bulky, heavy & not practical.. I normally buy him hemp wallets but it seems like they fall apart to fast.. This is perfect for his lifestyle! Leather wallets are to Mr. Rogers for my old man & how many guys get to own a kevlar wallet! This wallet is perfect for the price! Oh and I'm sure he is going to take the metal clip off as well.. That part however is not practical for pocket use.. Maybe Civilian Lab will make one without the clip someday.. I'm thinking of buying one for his son (he is 11) and the clip would be perfect for beginner wallet users! I say A+ on this product
